Charly Harris, FNP obtained a BS in Biology from VA Tech, then a BS in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University. She worked at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Duke University Hospital while pursuing a degree in Masters in Nursing, Family Practitioner Nursing Program at Duke. She worked at Providence Family and Sports Medicine as a family nurse practitioner taking care of children, teens and adults. Her interest is in prevention of chronic illnesses, such as diabetes and hypertension, and believes that prevention of many chronic illnesses starts in childhood. She grew up in Danville, VA and has been living in South Boston with her husband for over 5 years. They have a recent addition to their family, their precious little girl. Charly enjoys cooking and spending quality time with family and friends.
